A FULL REVIEW ON THE R.O.O.T.S.
*So this is Flo Rida's follow up to his LOW LOW LOW Album. I am not impressed with Flo's rapping skills but everything turns out to be okay with "The R.O.O.T.S." and this is way better than "Mail On Sunday". With the first single "Round Round" hitting #1 and with all the other tracks from the album, IT'S FIRE MAN! "Sugar ft Wynter" which features sample from Eiffel 65's Blue song keeps you bouncing and rapping hahaha. "Rewind ft Wyclef" and the Ne-yo assisted "Be On You" are tracks you need to hear from the album. I was expecting a full album about girls, drugs, getting girls on bed but apparently there are a few songs that talks about current issues and other relevant issues. This album is a 4 1/2 Stars full of radio-friendly tracks.

Country songs this week on Idol, I didnt get the chance to watch it just updating you on this one. I like Kris Allen take on "To Make You Feel My Love" which sounds very much like a Rascal Flatts song. And its interesting to hear a male take on Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take The Wheel" as Danny Gokey sang it this week. And with the whole Slumdog Millionaire, Anoop is good! hahaha. "All I Ever Wanted" will make you forget "My December" and all the singles there was. "My Life..." is as close to "Since Youve Been Gone" and so are all the tracks form the album Ireally like the spin off on the song "All I Ever Wanted" which samples one of my fave songs from Spoon titled "Turn Your Camera On", I also reco the pop tune "Ready", "I Want You" the slow "If No One Listen" is also good. *Francis Magalona (October 4, 1964 - March 6, 2009), also known as FrancisM, Master Rapper, and The Man From Manila, was a Filipino rapper, songwriter, producer, actor, director, and photographer. With the success of his earliest albums, he was the first Filipino rapper in the Philippines to cross over to the mainstream. He is also credited for having pioneered the merging of rap with Pinoy rock, becoming a significant influence to artists in that genre as well. He was also a television host on MTV Asia and on noontime variety television show Eat Bulaga! Magalona died seven months after being diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia. The Philippine government has announced that Magalona will be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit, for his contributions in promoting patriotism through music.
